Boiler Not Firing? Emergency Repair Service
When your boiler will not fire, neither heat nor hot water can be produced. Boiler ignition failures require prompt diagnostic attention.
Why a Boiler Will Not Fire
Common ignition failure causes include a faulty ignition electrode, a failed gas valve, no gas supply, a blocked condensate pipe triggering a safety lockout, a failed printed circuit board (PCB), or a safety thermostat that has tripped.
Lockout Conditions
Modern boilers enter a lockout condition after several failed ignition attempts. The boiler may display a lockout error code. Do not repeatedly reset the boiler, as this can worsen certain faults.
Ignition System Repair
Our technicians will diagnose the ignition system using specialized test equipment, identify the failed component, and complete the necessary repair to restore boiler operation.
Safety Reminder
If you smell gas, suspect carbon monoxide or believe there is an immediate danger, leave the property and contact emergency services or the appropriate gas emergency authority. Do not remain inside — exit the building immediately and call for help from outside.
