Boiler Leaking Water? Emergency Service
A leaking boiler can cause property damage and indicates a problem that requires prompt professional attention. Water leaks from boilers can stem from several sources.
Common Leak Sources
Boiler leaks commonly occur at the pressure relief valve (which may indicate over-pressurization), pump seals, system connections, the expansion tank, or from corrosion within the boiler heat exchanger.
Assessing the Leak Urgency
The amount and location of the leak determine its urgency. A small drip at a fitting may be less urgent than water spraying from a pressure relief valve. If water is pooling near electrical components, the system should be isolated and assessed promptly.
Leak Repair Process
Our technicians will identify the exact source of the leak, determine whether it is a simple seal replacement or a more complex repair, and provide a clear assessment. In some cases, isolating the affected section may temporarily stop the leak while we arrange the full repair.
Safety Reminder
If you smell gas, suspect carbon monoxide or believe there is an immediate danger, leave the property and contact emergency services or the appropriate gas emergency authority. Do not remain inside — exit the building immediately and call for help from outside.
